IE777 OTP not received? Login and signup fixes for Indian numbers

IE777 uses a one-time password sent by SMS when you register, reset your password or log in on a new phone. When it does not arrive, the cause is usually on the phone or the network. Go through these fixes in order, starting with the quickest.

Wait before you tap "resend"

OTP messages can take a minute or two, especially at busy times. Tapping resend repeatedly sends several codes and only the latest one works. Many apps also lock OTP requests for a while after too many attempts. Wait a full two minutes between requests and use the newest code.

Check the number you typed

Make sure the number has ten digits, with no 0 or +91 added in front if the app already shows +91. If you registered with a different number, the OTP goes there. "Account not found" after login usually means exactly that.

Look in your SMS spam and filtered folders

Indian phones filter SMS heavily. In Google Messages, open the menu and check "Spam & blocked". Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones may file it under the notifications or promotions tab. If Truecaller or another app is your default SMS app, check its spam folder too. Mark the sender as "not spam" so future codes go straight to your inbox.

Check the SIM and the signal

On a dual-SIM phone, the OTP goes to whichever SIM holds that number, so check that it is switched on and has signal. Turning airplane mode on for ten seconds and off again re-registers the SIM with the network, which clears many stuck messages. If you are on Wi-Fi with weak mobile signal, step somewhere with better coverage.

Make room for new messages

On some phones a full SMS inbox or almost-full storage stops new messages from arriving. Delete old conversations and free up some space.

DND does not block OTPs

Do Not Disturb, the TRAI service you can enable by sending START 0 to 1909, blocks promotional SMS. OTPs are sent as service messages, so they should still arrive with DND on. You do not need to turn DND off.

Recently ported or roaming numbers

If you moved your number to a new operator in the last few days, or you are roaming in another state, SMS delivery can lag. Try again after a few hours. If the app offers an OTP by voice call, use that instead.

Still no OTP?

Contact IE777 support from the help or chat option on the login screen. Give your registered number and the time you requested the code. Support can confirm whether the message was sent and whether your number is locked after too many attempts.

Keep your OTP to yourself

Anyone with your OTP can get into your account. IE777 support will never ask for it, and neither will anyone helping you "recover" a withdrawal. If someone has asked for your OTP and you have shared it, change your password from the official app straight away.
