Is IE777 real? How to spot the official app among copy sites
Dozens of sites offer an IE777 APK with different bonuses, versions and file sizes. Five checks to confirm you have the genuine app before you deposit.

Search for IE777 and the first page fills up with sites that look almost the same: a red logo, a big download button and a bonus figure. Read a few and they start to disagree. One promises ₹200, another ₹550. Version numbers run from 1.0.3 to 3.0, and file sizes from 23 MB to around 100 MB. Some of those files are old builds, some are repackaged, and a few only borrow the IE777 name.
This guide covers how to check what you are installing before any money goes in. If you typed IW777, you are in the right place. W sits next to E on the keyboard, and IW777 is the most common misspelling of the name.
Why there are so many IE777 sites
Apps like IE777 grow through referral links. Anyone with an agent account can put up a page, so the same app ends up behind dozens of domains, each with its own screenshots and its own idea of the current bonus. Most of those pages lead to the same installer. The ones to worry about host an outdated build, a modified APK, or a file that has nothing to do with IE777.
Five checks before you install
- Compare the file size. The current build, version 3.1.2, is about 31.6 MB. A 5 MB or 90 MB file is something else.
- Check the package name after installing. Open Settings > Apps > IE777 and look for the app details or "Advanced" section. The genuine package is in.playie777.app.
- Watch what it asks for. If the app wants to read your SMS, contacts or call log as soon as it opens, uninstall it. A game wallet has no reason to need them.
- Think about where the link came from. A forwarded WhatsApp message or an SMS from an unknown number is a poor source for an app that will hold your money.
- Look at the deposit screen. The real app hands the payment over to your own UPI app, where you see the payee and enter your PIN. Any screen inside a game that asks you to type your UPI PIN is fake.
Bonus figures don't prove anything
Sites show different bonuses because offers change and each referrer advertises whatever they saw on the day they built the page. A bigger number on a download page does not mean a better or more official app. The figure that counts is the one on the Events or Bonus screen inside your own account. Our IE777 bonus guide explains how those offers and their wagering rules work.
Signs a site is fake
Treat a site as unsafe if it asks for your IE777 password or OTP on a web form. Login happens inside the app, which is why our IE777 Login page never asks for either.
"Mod APK", "unlimited coins" and prediction hacks are another warning sign. Your balance lives on IE777's servers, so a modified app cannot change it. These files are a common way to spread malware that reads OTPs.
Be wary of downloads that arrive as a .zip, .exe or a second "installer" app instead of a single .apk file, and of pages that rush you with countdown timers or "only 3 spots left" banners.
If you already installed something suspicious
Uninstall it first. Then change your IE777 password from the official app and open your UPI app's transaction history to look for payments you do not recognise.
If money has left your account, call your bank straight away. You can also report cyber fraud on the national helpline 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in. Reporting quickly gives the bank the best chance of holding the money.
Where to get the right file
The IE777 download page lists the current file name, size, version and package name, so you can compare them with what is on your phone. If Android refuses to install it, the same page has fixes for the usual errors.
